Imst - Pitztal

Pitztal has more than 380 km of excellently marked and maintained hiking trails of all levels of difficulty. Quaint Alpine huts and inns invite you to take a rest in the unspoiled surroundings.

The numerous summits in Imst provide spectacular panoramic views into the Inntal, Gurgltal, Ötztal and Pitztal valleys.Venet, Tschirgant and Muttekopf are the names of the local mountains near the town of Imst, which has a population of around 10,000 inhabitants and lies at the heart of all hiking trails.

Mountain bike, e-bike, motorbike

Discover the regions of Imst and Pitztal on two wheels. The Imst and Pitztal regions provide mountain bikers with more than 150 km of marked mountain bike routes and trails between 800 and 1900 m.

We also offer e-bikes for those looking for a more leisurely ride. Go for a comfortable and effortless ride on one of our Movelo bikes and get to know the beautiful landscape that surrounds you.

Hochzeiger Family Trail

Downhill fans can test and improve their riding skills on 7 km of curves, berms and waves on the 1st single trail on the Hochzeiger. At the valley station there is a bike rental and a bike washing area. In less than 15 min the Hochzeiger gondola takes you comfortably to the starting point. For this you need your own bike tickets, which you can purchase at the ticket office.
